Welcome to the page dedicated to privacy and cookie policy of Meliadò legal Firm.

In accordance with the provisions of art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter also referred to as "GDPR"), we provide information regarding the processing of personal data carried out by our Firm. WHY WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Legal Firm Meliadò will use the data provided by the interested parties exclusively to fulfil the professional mandate conferred, both in extrajudicial and litigation matters, as well as to fulfil the legal and contractual obligations deriving from the relationship. For each new client, in the preliminary phase, the data will be used exclusively to draw up and address to the person concerned an estimate of expenses, formulated according to the needs. The data may also be used for the purposes of credit protection and better management of rights relating to the individual contractual relationship. In the exclusive performance of the professional activity and the obligations - legal or contractual - that may derive from it, personal data may be disclosed to third parties, public or private, Firm Collaborators, Technical and Accounting Consultants, Notaries, Accountants, Banking Institutes, etc.. The professional activity may also involve the use of the postal service, with necessary communication of your data to the person in charge of the service. Lawyers are also subject to the obligations under the anti-money laundering legislation (Legislative Decree no. 231/2007), with the consequent possibility of communicating personal data to the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Bank of Italy, only in the cases provided for by law. Under no circumstances will the personal data processed by the Firm be disclosed.

WHICH DATA WE PROCESS

For the above activities we may process, in addition to name, surname, place and date of birth, residence data, tax code and VAT number, also sensitive data pursuant to art. 9 of the GDPR, i.e. personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data designed to uniquely identify a natural person, data relating to health. The processing will take place with the acquisition of explicit consent or automatically when necessary to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court, or whenever the courts exercise their judicial functions (art. 9, paragraph 2, letter F, GDPR). In accordance with art. 10 of GDPR, the Firm may also process data relating to criminal convictions and crimes or related security measures, in compliance with the national legislation in force. The communication of this data, even sensitive data, is optional on the part of the interested party. However, in its absence, the mandate may not be accepted or continued. Refusal to provide consent for information or advertising purposes will only result in the impossibility of receiving information relating to the services provided by the Firm, but will have no effect on other professional relationships that may exist.

FOR HOW LONG AND WHERE WE KEEP THEM

The personal data collected for the above mentioned purposes will be kept by the Firm until the completion of the professional assignment and, in any case, no later than the statute of limitations of the rights arising from the contractual relationship, that is, no later than 10 years from their acquisition. The processing takes place in Italy, at the offices of Studio Legale Meliadò. The data may be stored on paper and/or computer media.

WHO THE DATA CONTROLLER AND ITS MANAGERS ARE

In processing your personal data, the Owner will make use of some persons in charge, pursuant to art. 28 GDPR. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT FROM NAVIGATION ON OUR SITE

Legal Firm Meliadò is the only owner of the web domain www.studiolegalemeliado.com and owner of the data collected through its website. The computer systems and computer programs, necessary for the operation of our website, record during their normal operation, some personal information, whose acquisition occurs automatically and inevitably when using the communication protocols of the Internet. These data are in no way found with the specific purpose of identifying the respective data subjects, but could (due to their own characteristics), in association with other data, allow the identification of users. On our site there are links to third party sites, the user who clicks on the respective links agrees to provide navigation data to third parties, who will use them in accordance with their privacy policy.

THIRD PARTY SERVICES ON THE SITE

The site may contain third party services and in no case do these tools collect data that can be uniquely traced back to a specific person. As a result, our site does not provide your personal data to third parties. Any transfer of this data to a country outside the European Union takes place, in any case, in compliance with the Privacy Shield Framework, which constitutes a decision of adequacy under Article 45 of the GDPR.

COOKIE POLICY

Cookies are short fragments of text (letters and/or numbers) that allow the web server to store information on the browser to be reused during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or afterwards, even after days (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, according to the user's preferences, by the individual browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone). Our site does not use persistent cookies, trojans, spyware, web bugs, or user tracking systems. The use of so-called session cookies (which are not persistently registered on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is only aimed at making the site exploration safe and efficient. Such session cookies do not allow, in any case, the acquisition of personal data identifying the user. Likewise, third-party cookies, which may be present on our website through plugins, are exclusively technical cookies, which collect session data anonymously and not intended for analysis or profiling. The navigation data collected, exclusively in anonymous form, are used to obtain statistical information on the use of the site and its correct functioning.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS

In accordance with Art. 7, para. 3, GDPR, for processing based on the consent given by the data subject, you have the right to revoke consent at any time. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation. To revoke your consent to the processing, you may send written notice to the e-mail address indicated above. In accordance with Articles 15 - 22 GDPR, the data subject also has the right to request and obtain from the data controller at any time:

  • confirmation of the existence or non-existence of your personal data;
  • obtain information on the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be communicated and, when possible, the period of storage;
  • obtain the rectification and erasure of data (so-called right to be forgotten);
  • obtain the restriction of processing;
  • to obtain the portability of the data, i.e. to receive them from the data controller, in a structured format, in common use and readable by automatic device, and to transmit them to another data controller without hindrance;
  • oppose the processing at any time, even in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes;
  • oppose an automated decision-making process relating to natural persons, including profiling, which can only take place with prior consent.
